What is mānuka oil and how is it different from mānuka honey?

Mānuka oil is distilled from the leaves and branches of the Leptospermum scoparium plant. Mānuka honey comes from bees that pollinate the same plant. Both contain compounds with antimicrobial properties. Mānuka oil is more concentrated and is used in formulations targeting breakouts and skin irritation.

Can I use this on nights when I'm using tretinoin or other prescription actives?
